Dev Log #3 | Gathering the sand grains
As castle Graybill's hourglass drops its grains towards our deadlines, The team has made significant progress getting ready to unleash the sands of Graybill out to the world. The last 2 weeks have marked alot of things needed to be finished and we are getting closer to our vision.
Team lead Tony McNeil has been working onto our menu's, ironing out bugs and planning ahead.


The Environmental team has been working hard on getting the first floor of the castle fleshed out to fit the vision that castle Graybill needs to be. Team member Angelina Grace has been working on finishing up the chapel and the library while team member Victoria Farrell and Anna Stevenson have been working on more props for the castle, such as paintings and pool tables!

The level design team has been working on getting our enemy AI set up for the players to go up against. These enemies have some cool properties. Some can now fire projectiles and others can hit our players, they all also have radius detection system and can hunt players. Jonah Howell has been working hard on realizing our enemies littered around castle Graybill.

The sound team has started to put in the work of getting the noises of Falling Sands just right. Team member Anna has gotten the process of bit-crushing the audio correctly, while also getting the footsteps in and some of our checkpoint sounds, quite cool! Team member Ty has been looking into how to change footstep noise depending on materials.
Programming team member Cameron has been working on the event system and the timer system. Cameron has also been working with his real-time rendering team to get the trailer going.
